1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BuildInvoice at buildinvoice.in (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Service. These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including visitors, registered users, and paying subscribers.

2. Description of Service

BuildInvoice is an online invoicing tool that helps freelancers and small businesses create branded invoices, collect payments, and track their billing. Features include PDF export, live preview, GST calculation, client management, UPI/QR payments, and more.

3. User Accounts

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Keep your password confidential and not share it with others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. Free and Pro Plans

4.1 Free Plan

• 5 invoices per month
• PDF export with BuildInvoice watermark
• Basic invoice creation and live preview
• GST calculation

4.2 Pro Plan

The Pro plan provides full access to all BuildInvoice features at ₹399 per month or ₹3,999 per year. A 2-day free trial is available for new users.

4.3 Plan Changes

You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time from your account settings.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to attempting to disrupt operations, accessing accounts that are not yours, or using BuildInvoice for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and branding of BuildInvoice are owned by us. You retain ownership of the invoice data and content you create using the Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

BuildInvoice is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected immediately, that the Service is free of harmful components, or that results obtained will be accurate. Use of the Service is at your sole risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuildInvoice and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Guwahati, Assam.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
